UAE Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2023

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • UAE greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 243,550.00, a 6.18% increase from 2018.
  • UAE greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 229,380.00, a 7.76% decline from 2017.
  • UAE greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 248,690.00, a 1.67% decline from 2016.
  • UAE greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2016 was 252,920.00, a 3.14% increase from 2015.
