Chile Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2022

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Chile greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 113,020.00, a 4.95% increase from 2018.
  • Chile greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 107,690.00, a 0.17% increase from 2017.
  • Chile greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 107,510.00, a 0.86% increase from 2016.
  • Chile greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2016 was 106,590.00, a 4.37% increase from 2015.
