Colombia Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2023

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Colombia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 187,340.00, a 3.21% increase from 2018.
  • Colombia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 181,520.00, a 4.74% increase from 2017.
  • Colombia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 173,310.00, a 2.75% decline from 2016.
  • Colombia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2016 was 178,210.01, a 1.7% increase from 2015.
