Kazakhstan Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2023

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Kazakhstan greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 274,670.01, a 1.39% decline from 2018.
  • Kazakhstan greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 278,540.01, a 0.51% decline from 2017.
  • Kazakhstan greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 279,959.99, a 7.88% increase from 2016.
  • Kazakhstan greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2016 was 259,510.01, a 3.71% increase from 2015.
