Niger Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1970-2022

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Niger greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 45,050.00, a 4.65% increase from 2017.
  • Niger greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 43,050.00, a 4.16% increase from 2016.
  • Niger greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2016 was 41,330.00, a 4.34% increase from 2015.
  • Niger greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2015 was 39,610.00, a 4.76% increase from 2014.
