Egypt Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2024

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Egypt greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 299,778.65, a 2.5% decline from 2019.
  • Egypt greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 307,452.95, a 7.21% decline from 2018.
  • Egypt greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 331,356.79, a 1.89% decline from 2017.
  • Egypt greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 337,741.66, a 3.14% increase from 2016.
