Sri Lanka Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2024
Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
- Sri Lanka greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 35,117.25, a 1.02% decline from 2019.
- Sri Lanka greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 35,477.98, a 6.59% increase from 2018.
- Sri Lanka greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 33,285.05, a 1.66% decline from 2017.
- Sri Lanka greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 33,847.33, a 2.58% decline from 2016.
