Philippines Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2024

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Philippines greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 224,971.76, a 4.39% decline from 2019.
  • Philippines greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 235,302.38, a 3.27% increase from 2018.
  • Philippines greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 227,857.68, a 2.95% increase from 2017.
  • Philippines greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 221,322.02, a 8.44% increase from 2016.
