Papua New Guinea Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2024
Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
- Papua New Guinea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 18,397.92, a 9.49% decline from 2019.
- Papua New Guinea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 20,327.16, a 1.31% increase from 2018.
- Papua New Guinea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 20,064.63, a 4.73% increase from 2017.
- Papua New Guinea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 19,157.79, a 0.48% increase from 2016.
