Austria Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2024

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Austria greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 71,017.83, a 7.32% decline from 2019.
  • Austria greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 76,622.89, a 1.38% increase from 2018.
  • Austria greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 75,582.16, a 3.96% decline from 2017.
  • Austria greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 78,699.14, a 2.5% increase from 2016.
