North Macedonia Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2024

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • North Macedonia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 9,768.86, a 10.31% decline from 2019.
  • North Macedonia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 10,891.86, a 8.8% increase from 2018.
  • North Macedonia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 10,011.07, a 4.89% decline from 2017.
  • North Macedonia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 10,526.34, a 4.96% increase from 2016.
