Peru Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2024

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Peru greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 89,865.35, a 10.49% decline from 2019.
  • Peru greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 100,394.94, a 3.39% increase from 2018.
  • Peru greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 97,101.62, a 0.09% increase from 2017.
  • Peru greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 97,009.76, a 2.29% decline from 2016.
